Description
Nellie Jonsson (b. 1992) is a Swedish artist who works with ceramics, painting and sculpture. Her works deal with the everyday-like state of situations and functionalities within the home. The visual language is identified by caricaturized everyday-objects.
Jonsson is educated at the Oslo Academy of the Arts with a bachelor’s degree in medium- and material-based art (2016–2019), and a master’s degree in material-based art with specialization in ceramics (2019-2021). Previous works have been shown at the Spring Exhibition, Kunsthal Charlottenborg (Copenhagen, 2020) and Salgshallen (Oslo, 2021) as well as QB Gallery (2021).
